Route starting from Piazza delle Stazioni and crossing the historic part of Tirano, going up Via XX Settembre to Porta Bormina, then following country roads to the locality of Cologna (altitude 622 m, 50 minutes); continues on a forest track to the locality Ca' De Campo (altitude 671 m, 55 minutes) then descends, first following a mule track and then a forest track through chestnut groves, to Castellaccio (altitude 468 m, 30 minutes) to finish the walk at Piazza delle Stazioni.
