Easy route regularly followed by tourists who visit Chiareggio and can be done either clockwise or counterclockwise. From Chiareggio, you reach Pian del Lupo and, after the bridge over the stream in the Muretto valley, the Forbesina alpine pasture, where you join for a short stretch the Alta Via route heading east. After crossing the bridge just beyond the confluence of the Sissone and Ventina streams, take the path on the left that runs alongside the stream downhill until you reach the bridge that gives access to the road to the Ventina alpine pasture, where the loop closes.
