From the parking lot near the Dazio cemetery (557 m a.s.l.), take the dirt road on the left, which leads through wide meadows towards the Co'lmen (white and red trail markers no. 5). The route, through the woods, passes through the Crotto area, climbing steadily towards the summit. Before the halfway point, near some rocky outcrops close to a curve, there is a superb view over the entire middle Valtellina, up to Sondrio and beyond; once at the summit (921 m a.s.l.), the clearings among the shady woods invite well-deserved rest. And there are certainly panoramic views of the valley from the La Casermetta refuge, which, right at the summit, takes its name from a military observation post built during the First World War. For the return route, follow the mountain ridge westwards (trail no. 8), where you will find some small seasonal ponds, essential for the numerous deer that inhabit the protected Co'lmen area. From the Bocc area, characterized by the excavation tunnels of ancient iron mines, take trail no. 6 to descend the north slope of the mountain back to the village.
