A walk that allows you to admire two splendid waterfalls, in an entirely pedestrian path 1.3 kilometers long and with a 150-meter drop in altitude: this is the excursion that leads from Madesimo to Pianazzo, a small hamlet at 1399 meters above sea level . It's an easy walk, also suitable for pushchairs and lit up at night. Along the road you come across the Cascata del Catino and that of Pianazzo. The first has a drop of about 100 metres, is fed by the waters of the Scalcoggia torrent and its name derives from the shape assumed by the rock following the erosion of the water. The second, on the other hand, is the highest in Valchiavenna with a 180-metre drop: the finish of the walk is right on the belvedere, to admire its power even more.
