This loop route is a pleasant excursion that combines history, nature, and breathtaking views, ideal for families and walkers of all levels. Starting from the center of Bormio, you take the "Pedemontana del Reit," an almost flat path that runs along the sunny side of the mountain. The easy and well-trodden path crosses pine and larch woods, offering continuous views of Bormio, Valdidentro, and the surrounding peaks. Before taking the path that climbs the Pedemontana, you encounter the Botanical Garden, an oasis of alpine flora. The track continues to the locality of Uzza, then gently descends to the village of Teregua, where you can admire the chapel of Santo Crocifisso. From here, you return to Bormio crossing the Adda river and following a stretch of cycle path. The route is designed to offer a relaxing walk rich in points of interest, with the possibility of numerous stops to admire the landscape or have a picnic.
