From the Berni Mountain Hut, follow an old military road until you reach the former glacier front, then continue over scree to a picturesque vantage point. Along the route, there are educational panels dedicated to geology, alpine flora, and the evolution of the glacier, as well as the instruments used for glaciological monitoring. S552
