A fairly short but challenging route due to the slope: sections around 15% are not short and require medium-high motor assistance. You ascend from San Giuseppe on asphalt up to the Barchi locality, pass the short climb of the ski slope, and then turn left onto a dirt road which is in parts very steep, leading to the lake and the Palu' Refuge. After skirting the lake on the right, you continue on the service track that first reaches the Campolungo Pass, then Monte Motta, always with significant slopes. At the top, you have 360-degree views over the entire Valmalenco. From Campolungo Pass, it is possible to connect with the Campo Moro dam area via dirt roads and paths: the return on the same route may require the use of a second battery. It is also possible to complete the entire loop starting from Chiesa.
