In the silence of the mountain, the cross of Rosetta Peak soars into the blue sky, watching over the valley and its people in the name of God. So it is written on a plaque at the summit, which is not just a summit, but more a symbol for those who live in the valley. Trail number 124 follows the loop route; the direction of travel is free. The starting point is the parking lot in the Alpe Culino locality; here is the Rifugio Bar Bianco (M 1506). The cross is already in sight, and the trail goes up the wide but steep pasture, always on the left side. The trail passes the Baite del Prato (M 1715), a patch of rhododendrons and a sparse grove. The section to the summit is on the ridge. The cross is at 2156 meters asl, and the view is all to behold. The trail then descends diagonally on the slope to the Culino Hut and Culino Lake (M 1956), a typical alpine lake. The trail from here crosses the pasture to Baite Ve'n (M 1808), then into a grove and then onto a dirt track to the hut.
