The excursion starts from the parking lot near the Rifugio dei Forni. During the uphill route the view is very interesting and ranges over the Vedretta dei Forni and a large part of the Thirteen Peaks. In the last stretch the route, which is a dirt road that the Refuge managers ascend with a jeep, is rather steep and narrow between the rocks; the use of a servo-assisted joelette or at least 4 escorts is necessary.
