The trail starts from the large parking lot located after crossing the village of Chiareggio. From the parking area, follow the orographic left side of the stream and cross the footbridge. The route runs along the valley on a smooth surface, with no particular problems, except for a short final section that is rather steep with a stony bottom: with four joelers it can be overcome quite easily. On the plain at the finish there are two shelters: GerliPorro and just beyond Ventina. Pushing further you can see the Ventina glacier. The return is along the same route as the outward.
