The route connecting Bema (M 798) to Pizzo Berro (M 1,851) has as its starting point the very village that has Pizzo in its coat of arms.
The mule track climbs the long hump-with meadows and huts-above the village to the Rifugio Ronchi (M 1,200), to be passed by following the dirt road for a short distance. The trail (to ignore the first detour to the right) is all in beautiful Orobic forest. The intermediate stops are the Fracino locality, a beautiful clearing with two huts at 1,520 m asl, and the Aser spring. The well-marked trail climbs steeply with a series of switchbacks and comes out of the woods, and the summit cross is already in sight. The scenic Pizzo Berro is at 1,851 m asl. Sights help to better observe some peaks, such as Mount Disgrazia and Pizzo Badile.
The return follows the same route.
