From the Pizzini Refuge take the easy path S529 towards the Zebru' Pass, from which you can admire the majestic Gran Zebru' and the trenches of the First World War. The descent from the pass is steep but panoramic. After the first stretch it levels off and you come to a fork. Continue on path S5291.1 across the scree at the foot of Cima Miniera to another fork. From here climb up to the Quinto Alpini Refuge with its spectacular views of the entire valley. From the refuge descend initially by the way you came, then continue on path S516 to the Baita del Pastore. From here, the descent is easier along bridleway S529 in the Val Zebru', passing via the Campo Refuge and finally arriving at the parking area at Niblogo.
