The walk starts in Valdisotto at Boss above San Bartolomeo, near the artificial tunnel, and ascends path S534 then crosses the Mala stream and enters the forest. The path is quite steep up to Prades and some stretches require keeping close to the rocks above drops of several dozen metres the path is not recommended for those suffering from vertigo. From here the trail becomes flatter and continues through dense forest. You then pass Presure and continue up to Oultoir, where you can see rustic mountain huts surrounded by wide grasslands with various types of livestock grazing. Slender trees dominate the area.
