After the quartz quarry take paths N269.1 N271 to Pra de Piaz and Pra de Sciaga up to the mountain huts of Esc, crossed by an easy mule track which, after a short distance in the open, enters a forest of firs and leads to Pien de Stabinac, where there is a large clearing to the side of a rocky valley. From here a trail leads into the valley watch out for falling rocks, after which it continues almost flat to the mountain huts of Mandria and Pratalzo and soon after those of Bataen. In the middle of a beautiful forest of firs, the trail goes slightly downhill, leaving behind the meadows of Li Suvili that can sometimes be seen on the right, until you reach Motin. From the mountain huts at Motin you can admire the beautiful panorama over Le Prese and Frontale.
