From Madesimo, follow the Sentiero degli Andossi following the signs to the refuge, first ascending a steep staircase leading into a cool forest of larches and firs. The well-marked path gently climbs until emerging among meadows and pastures dotted with boulders, offering wide views of the valley and surrounding peaks. Upon reaching a paved road, a few steps uphill lead to the Mai Tardi Refuge, in Andossi locality, at about 1800 meters altitude. The walk takes less than an hour and offers an authentic and peaceful mountain atmosphere.
