Starting from the town of Sommacologna, after a narrow passage among the village houses, take a steep ascent on the right, path 268.2, leading towards La Vigna and Camp del Pra'. At the fork, leave the climbing path and descend to the right towards Remoscolo. The path goes into a forest which especially in spring and autumn takes on wonderful colors. Along the way, you can admire the panorama of Sondalo and the imposing construction of the Morelli hospital. After crossing the small bridge over the Rio stream, you reach the hospital fence, right at the entrance of the porter’s lodge of pavilion 8. From here, a steep path on the left climbs towards Roncale. After passing the huts of Roncale, you arrive at the Madonna della Neve.
