The trail starts from the Forte di Oga area in front of the homonymous hotel at about 1708 meters above sea level, where there is parking space. A dirt road climbs through fir and larch woods up to the wide and panoramic malga San Colombano, crossing the locations Baite Streita, Sposina Bassa, and Pozza, and partly running along the ski slopes.
