The Energy Cycle Path was created in response to the need to enhance the Valtellina area from a tourist and sporting perspective, particularly where the A2A hydroelectric power plants are located; a desire expressed by the local populations at the first Listening Forum, a meeting organized by A2A in February 2016 involving institutions, businesses, and local associations. The project was born to simultaneously enhance the territory and production sites: a cycle path capable of perfectly integrating into a fascinating setting, rich in breathtaking views and points of interest. A project serving the community aimed at promoting tourism while respecting the Valtellina territory. The Energy Cycle Path consists of three routes, distinguished by type and layout, able to meet the needs of anyone approaching the mountains: families, amateurs, and athletes can embark on an adventure discovering landscapes that only Valtellina can offer.
