From the parking lot at the cemetery of Dazio (m 557 a.s.l.), take the dirt road to the left, which leads through wide meadows toward the Co'lmen (red and white trail marker No. 5). The path, in the woods, passes the Crotto locality, climbing sharply toward the summit. Before the goal, at some rocky outcrops near a bend, there is a superb view of the entire mid Valtellina, all the way to Sondrio and beyond; until, on the summit (m 921 a.s.l.), clearings among shady groves invite a well-deserved rest. And there is certainly no shortage of panoramic views of the valley from the La Casermetta refuge, which, at the very summit, takes its name from a military lookout post built during the First World War. For the return route, follow the ridge of the mountain westward (trail No. 8), where you will encounter some small seasonal lakes, essential for the numerous deer that populate the Co'lmen protected area. From the Bocc locality, characterized by the excavation tunnels of the old iron mines, take trail No. 6 to descend the north side of the mountain back to the village.
