The start is planned from So'mp Eira at parking P11, then take, on the south side, path N134, characterized by a drivable route with ups and downs advancing alongside Mount Li Crape'na, but not reaching its summit. Then continue on a nearly flat trail from where you can observe the splendid scenery of the Livigno Valley with Mount Vach in the background. You easily reach Crap da la Pare', whose highest point, at 2,390 m above sea level, is marked by a large wooden cross. It represents the last station of the Via Crucis, the start of which remains in the valley floor at Pemont. Visible from here are the peaks of OrtlesCevedale.
