From the Church of San Carlo, continue for 200 m on the Livigno state road and descend left onto the path N209 until the Al Bridge. The descent is quite steep, but in a short time you reach the valley floor. The terrain is now flat, with comfortable paths along the Viola stream, allowing easy walks in a natural setting, very quiet and isolated from traffic, with groups of typical alpine huts. This area was once characterized by productive activities, with the presence of one of the oldest iron furnaces known.
