It has no difficulties and features refreshment points and equipped areas. Starting near the Monte Scale refreshment point along the dirt road N199, on a path with little elevation change, you skirt the Cancano and San Giacomo di Fraele dams. The first was built between 1953 and 1956 and receives overflow water from the San Giacomo dam and the Viola canal, while the second dates back to 1940 but was completed in 1950 due to war events. It is fed by the Spol canal, the Alpe, Gavia, Frodolfo, Zebrù, Braulio, Forcola streams and part of the Adda river. The itinerary provides for a complete circuit around the San Giacomo dam, crossing the dam and returning to the starting point. In summer and during certain times the road is closed to traffic, allowing you to enjoy the peace and quiet of the area.
