The route climbs starting from the 1600 m of the Monte parking area up to 2300 m of Campaccio, featuring fresh water springs, panoramic points, and artistic points of interest along the way, such as the century-old Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Monte locality and the characteristic mountain huts. Starting from the ancient village of Monte, follow trail N273 northwest towards the Campello huts, reachable in about 40 minutes. From here, the walk continues west on trail N273, briefly joining trail N208, then continues to the Malga di Campaccio southeast, where it is possible to see the characteristic mountain lake. The communal alpine pasture testifies to the connection with the territory and its preservation through agriculture and shepherding, which are very important in Alta Valtellina.
