There are several routes to reach the Bosio-Galli Refuge. The one we propose in this walk starts from loc. Piasci in the Municipality of Torre di Santa Maria. It is definitely the shortest and simplest itinerary to reach the refuge. You drive up from Torre di Santa Maria; a transit permit is required, which can be collected at the town hall or from the automatic device located in front of the town hall. The car is left in loc. Piasci in a large parking area. The excursion starts from the summer farm Piasci, you take the path near the Cometti Refuge and enter the Val Torreggio. The elevation gain to be made is quite low, about 400 meters. After a short simple stretch in the woods, you have to overcome a small elevation gain by making some steep switchbacks, then you reach the Alpe Palu'. Always careful to follow the path, which in this part of the route is not entirely obvious, you reach our destination in a short time. For the return, you can directly follow the ascent route.
