The path alternates between paved road and unpaved trails, stimulating thoughts of both art and nature and offering views of the valley. Starting from Piatta in Valdisotto, proceed on via Canaletta to the junction on the left where you take path S545 that leads directly to San Pietro. From the Church of SS. Pietro, Marcellino and Erasmo, which outwardly appears to be a simple building but inside contains works of great artistic sophistication and elegance, continue on the main road to the junction then take path S540. After the bend follow the paved road towards Ciuk. Continue on path S540 that at a certain point joins path S543 until you reach Bormio 2000.
