Start from parking area P12 Pont de Re'z. Follow the Valecia Valley on a dirt bridleway a short distance to the Bait de Vale'cia. Continuing you soon reach the Chese'ira de Vale'cia then continue on the footpath. The first part is easy, flanked by gently sloping pastures. At the foot of La Fo'pa, the trail becomes more difficult with a steep climb up to the Boche'ta de Vale'cia at 2,614 m above sea level. The pass connects on the right with the Boche'ta da li Mina and descends towards the Val Minestra and the Val Viola in the territory of Valdidentro.
