From the Chapel of Presedont in Valdidentro, walk westward and take trail N288. Beyond a small bridge, the path climbs steeply through dense forest to the Baita Belvedere, located in a secluded corner of the mountain. The track narrows and enters Val Cardone', touching a first hut where, turning into a kind of wide mule track, it continues towards the Baite di Cardone'. A bridge allows you to cross the watercourse and the trail gains elevation up to the top of the ridge of the Corni di Verva. On the right, you can ascend to the Colle delle Pecore. Instead, go left and, after crossing an area of rock debris, you reach a first plateau where, in front of the lower tongues of the Vedretta dei Piazzi, stands the building of Bivacco Ferrario.
