The route starts from the upper station of the Carosello 3000 cable car. The rather high altitude (around 2800m) recommends the route only for people in good physical condition. It does not present particular difficulties, except requiring caution in some passages on rather steep slopes. The panorama certainly makes up for the difficulties: it stretches 360 degrees over the Livigno valley, the peaks of Engadine, and much more. The bivouac at the arrival, although well equipped with various equipment, does not have toilets, which are located outside it in a hard-to-reach position. Remember to bring suitable clothing because even in summer it can be cold, especially in case of wind.
