Just beyond the hamlet of Canareglia in Madonna dei Monti you reach a small parking area, from which, leaving the car, you climb along the military road S531, which you leave at the hairpin bend at an altitude of 1870 m to push on to the Alpe di Solaz, di Sotto and di Sopra, where you can enjoy a stupendous view of Valfurva. The slope of the military road is constant and not particularly challenging; steep is the stretch to Alpe Solaz di Sotto: alternatively, it is still possible to climb the road up to the hairpin bend at an altitude of 2000 m and reach the mountain pasture from above,
