The OH Short Trail is a loop of about 12 km with 600 meters of elevation gain that captures the essence of alpine trail running in an accessible and enjoyable distance.
The route begins in the heart of Bormio’s historic center—one of the most charming medieval villages in the Alps—and quickly leads to the trails of the Stelvio National Park. The route alternates between smooth singletrack, forest roads, meadows, and coniferous forests, offering continuous panoramic views of the Bormio valley and the surrounding mountains.
Although it does not reach high altitudes or feature particularly technical sections, the course offers an authentic trail running experience on perfectly maintained trails set in a natural environment of extraordinary beauty. It is the ideal route for those who want to get started in trail racing or enjoy an intense, scenic run in the heart of the Alps.
