From Arnoga near the lower parking lot, enter Val Viola following the old mule track that runs flat until surpassing the Baite di Campo. Continue until you reach the turnoff for Val Verva, thus descending to the Viola river. After crossing the bridge, after a short up and down, resume climbing until near the Baite di Verva. Continue staying on the right side of the valley, always following the path, reaching the Alpe di Verva and continue on the same side of the valley. Approximately five hundred meters before the Verva pass, gradually turn left reaching the base of the western slopes of Cima Piazzi and keeping a proper distance, head southeast near Lake Verva, preferably passing it on the left. From here, the valley is clearly visible and ascend it towards the south without particular problems until the pass.
