Finally the ski mountaineering route in the Bormio 2,000 area, a gem starting at 2,000 meters altitude!

In Bormio, almost entirely surrounded by woods, the skimo trail starts at the arrival of the Bormio 2000 cable car and ascends to the Chalet La Rocca and I Rododendri restaurants. From here, beyond the maintained trail, an expert ski mountaineer can choose to continue ascending on the closed slope between La Rocca and Cimino. For the descent, you can choose from many slopes in the Bormio ski area, including the legendary Stelvio slope where the World Cup downhill ski Champions compete every year. The skimo trail in numbers: length 1.4 km, duration 35 minutes, altitude difference 219 m, start at 1,942 m, finish at 2,161 m. Difficulty level: easy/medium
