From Arnoga near the low parking area enter the Viola valley following the old mule track that enters flat until it passes Baite di Campo. Continue further until you meet the detour for the Verva valley, thus descending to the Viola River. Past the bridge, after a short up and down, you start climbing again, arriving in the vicinity of the Verva huts. Continue staying on the right side of the valley, still following the small road, arriving at the Verva alpine pasture and continue on the same side of the valley. Five hundred meters before, of the Verva pass, you gradually deviate to the left, arriving at the base of the western slopes of the Cima Piazzi, and staying at a proper distance, in a southeasterly direction, you bring yourself to the vicinity of the Verva lake, passing it preferably on the left. From here the gully is well evident and in a southerly direction one ascends it without any particular problems to the nozzle.
