From the Campec locality in the Forni valley, near the Stella Alpina hut, start climbing following the mule track that leads to the Pradaccio di Sotto huts and arrived coming out of the edge of the forest continue to the Pradaccio di Sopra huts. Continue to the left as you enter the Manzina valley and go up a small valley to the left of the obvious furrow where the Manzina stream descends. Continuing in a northerly direction you come to a plain to the left of the Manzina lake; this point can also be reached by starting from the Forni and climbing above the Forni hut, and after overcoming the first steep section you come to a short plateau that then enters the Pisella valley, from here you gradually climb to the Prealda rock on the left. From here or losing a few meters of elevation gain, you arrive just below Manzina Lake, which you reach by bending diagonally to the left. Continue westward, passing under the southern slopes of Cima della Manzina, and enter a narrow valley that leads below the final slopes of Monte Confinale. Climb the obvious slope passing to the left of the saddle where the Del Piero Bivouac is located on the right, and you come to a ridge on the left. Now follow the ridge to reach the summit. The last section is quite steep and sometimes it is necessary to climb without skis.
