From Rifugio Forni follow the convenient mule track that initially climbs two steep switchbacks, then to the right becomes flatter and just beyond it climbs near a wooden hut. From here diagonally to the left until you reach a characteristic depression on the edge of the ancient lateral moraine of the Forni glacier where just beyond is the Laghetto dei Forni at elevation 2375 m. Continue climbing slightly to the left, thus entering Val Pisella, to the left of the obvious and wide ridge of Monte dei Forni. After passing some small valleys and bumps, having reached an altitude of about 2800 m, continue straight on, climbing diagonally up the right slope, thus reaching a wide amphitheater that is initially flat. Following the left ridge brings us to the base of a steep slope, which passed to the right leads to a flat section where rock glaciers are found. You then ascend an obvious narrow gully to the left to a ridge, and over the last slope, you reach the flat summit where there is a distinctive squared rock on the right.
