From Bormio, take the cable car to Bormio 2000 and then to Bormio 3000. The very technical route for bikers heads west along path S541 and descends to the Bei Laghetti area and then Bocca di Profa. Initially, the track is wide but at times you walk on large stones. At Bei Laghetti, the track becomes narrower but with a less uneven surface. Here you can stop and observe the surrounding mountains and the bright blue of the small lakes, about ten in total due to sedimentation. At Bocca di Profa, take path S518, steep in parts, to the left, until you reach the dirt road at Monti di Sobretta. Continuing on path S543.2, you easily arrive at the Bormio 2000 area, passing through Pozzo dell'Acqua and Fontanalonga. The road is unpaved and suitable for vehicles, characterized by minor ups and downs.
