Departing from the center of Livigno, follow the cycle path northward toward the lake. Just before the dairy, keep to the left and continue toward the lake. The same cycle path will take you to the left. Once you reach the Calcheira bridge parking lot (1,846 m), take route no. 167 on the right bank, which climbs up the valley without crossing the bridge. The trail runs alongside the stream for a stretch, then crosses it, before rejoining the main dirt road. You reach the crossroads at Plan da l'Isoleta (2,060 m). On the right, trail no. 172 climbs the 3 km dirt road that leads to the Cassana refuge (2,700 m), gradually increasing the difficulty of pedaling due to the steepness and uneven terrain. The main road continues at a constant pace until reaching the destination of Cheseira da Fedaria or Mortarecc (2,210 m). From here, you can continue toward the valley floor and climb the steep dirt road that leads to the Carosello 3000 arrival station (trail marker 162), then return to the Casera along a beautiful single trail that traverses the right orographic slope. Along the descent, returning to the Plan da l'Isoleta junction, turn left a few meters to take trail 173, which continues to the right and leads back to Pont de la Calcheira. This final stretch is made even more enjoyable by winding through the numerous characteristic tee-offs along the way.Feedback gebenSeitenleistenVerlaufGespeichert
