The ride begins in Livigno with a short flat stretch, perfect for warming up your legs on the Livigno Lake bike path towards Val Federia. The incline gradually becomes more pronounced as you continue towards Val Federia until you reach the valley's lower dirt trail (Calcheira area). Here, the route through the woods alongside the river alternates seemingly flat sections with gentle climbs and a few steeper inclines that will lead you to a farmhouse. After a ritual break, you return to Livigno along the same road until the wide, paved road will take you all the way to the bottom of the valley. The descent is enhanced by a breathtaking view of the entire valley and the constant presence of Livigno's characteristic "tee" (rocky terraces), which make the landscape unique. You return to Livigno, passing through part of the town center.
