From the parking lot at the Calcheira bridge 1846 m, take on the right side of the valley the route no. 167 that climbs the valley without crossing the bridge. The path runs alongside the stream for a stretch, then crosses it, before rejoining the main dirt road. You reach the junction at Plan da l'Isoleta 2060 m: on the right, trail no. 172 climbs the 3 km dirt section leading to Rifugio Cassana 2700 m with a progressively increasing difficulty to pedal due to steepness and uneven terrain. The main road continues at a steady pace until the destination Cheseira da Fedaria or Mortarecc 2210 m. From here it is possible to continue towards the valley floor and climb the steep dirt road leading to the arrival station of Carosello 3000 trail no. 162, then return to the casera along a nice single trail crossing the right side slope. Along the descent, back at the Plan da l'Isoleta junction, turn left for a few meters to take trail no. 173 which continues to the right and leads back to Pont de la Calcheira. This last stretch is even more pleasant winding through the many and characteristic Tee it meets.
