From the car park in Ponte della Calcheira 1846 m you take the Route n. 167 on the orographic right and climb through the valley without crossing the bridge. Part of the trail runs alongside of the brook, then it crosses it, and finally joins together with the main dirt road again. You get to the junction in Plan da L'Isoleta 2060 m: rightwards sign Way n. 172 the dirt 3 km uphill to the Rifugio Cassana 2700 m makes the ride tougher and tougher because of the steep and bumpy ground while the main road steadily proceeds to its destination at the Cheseira da Fedaria o di Mortarecc 2210 m. From here you can head for the valley bottom and climb on the steep dirt road leading to the finish line of Carosello 3000 ski runs sign Way n. 162, and then return to the creamery along a beautiful single trail crossing the slope on the orographic right. During the downhill route, and once returned to the junction in Plan da L'Isoleta, you have to turn left for some meters in order to take the trail n. 173 continuing rightwards and leading you to Pont de la Calcheira again. This last stretch is still more pleasant as it winds among the many and typical Tee it meets on its route.
