The circular route utilizes the firebreak that runs at altitude from Ca' Scari' above Caiolo to the road that climbs to Val Cervia. The ascent from Caiolo is paved up to San Bernardo, then becomes dirt with steep slopes and a fairly compact surface. The firebreak has lower slopes and heads towards the territory of Cedrasco, passing above the Baite Fontane and reaching the intersection with the Val Cervia road, just above the Campelli huts at 1300 meters. From this junction, turn left to climb again on steep cemented ramps until reaching the locality of Fienili di Arale. The return descent follows the paved road that leads back to the plain at Cedrasco. From Arale, the dirt road continues for kilometers to the bottom of the valley (over 1900 meters), with a branch halfway that leads to Casera Caprarezza.
