From Arnoga in Valdidentro 1880 m, take the trail marked No. 290 and at the first fork, just after a ridge, descend valleyward to the left on trail No. 201 passing the localities Basic, Alpe Campo 1910 m, and Paluetta 1900 m. Upon reaching the valley floor, cross the Viola stream at 1850 m on a bridge and enter Val Verva after passing Verva Bassa 1960 m. Continuing on dirt road, you reach Alpe Verva 2123 m, where it is possible to stop and taste the typical dishes of the local gastronomic tradition. Leave to the left the grassy channel that goes to Passo Corno delle Pecore. The itinerary continues gradually ascending on the left orographic side, although there are short steeper sections and the impression is one of never reaching the pass. Once at Passo di Verva 2301 m, a regular descent awaits on a winding road that first passes the mountain huts of Le Crote 2168 m, where you can see remains of trenches and caves, then passes above Rifugio Falck 1930 m, and finally arrives at Eita in Val Grosina 1697 m. From here, it is possible to descend along the asphalt road or, if the legs still hold, to follow the magnificent LaGrosina route.

Lake Calosso and, in the background, the Passo di Verva and the ridges rising towards Cima Piazzi.
