Historical Walk Among the Castles and Villas of Grosio

The route begins at the Parish Church of St. Joseph, in the heart of Grosio, and winds along paved and unpaved roads, suitable even for strollers. It passes through the historic center, going past the elegant Villa Visconti Venosta, a former noble residence. The walk continues toward the Grosio-Grosotto Rock Art Park, where millennia-old rock carvings can be admired.

Passing by the evocative ruins of the Visconti Castle, you reach the Castle of San Faustino, a testament to the local medieval history. The descent then leads to the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Grace, a spiritual retreat nestled in the landscape.
