It is a very simple itinerary, the classic walk, also suitable for families. It runs on a snow-covered road up to the Barchi locality and then on a path in the woods. The itinerary does not present orientation difficulties as the area is very frequented and well signposted. For those who want to take an alternative and more ''solitary'' path, we recommend the ascent to Lake Palu' passing through the localities Paluetto and Barchetto, or (as per the map) undertaking this route downhill. In this case, the ascent or descent is slightly steeper but rewarding for the beautiful scenic views visible from the alpine pastures you pass by. Once you reach Lake Palu', we recommend walking around the entire perimeter (about 40 minutes); it is an easy walk along the shores of the lake from which, with different angles, you can enjoy the panorama of the lake and surrounding mountains. The most daring can decide to walk on the frozen lake, usually covered with snow. Refreshment points: along the route. Rifugio Barchi and bar-restaurant La Gusa in the Barchi locality. At Lake Palu', the homonymous refuge. In the Palu' ski area there are numerous kiosks, Campanacci restaurant at Alpe Palu' or Malga Rundai farm stay.
