Starting from the center of Livigno, this tour will lead you to discover new roads and never before visited places, with breathtaking views and enchanting landscapes. Also perfect for less experienced cyclists, the route develops through climbs and descents suitable for those who want a rewarding and not too complicated experience.

The tour starts from Livigno with a first stretch that leads towards Lake Livigno, through the fascinating semi-enclosed tunnels of Gallo, from which you can enjoy a spectacular view of the entire lake. Continuing, you will reach the suggestive Livigno dam, with its breathtaking panorama of the valley. After the last short flat stretch, you will arrive at the entrance of the Schera tunnel. Since it is not possible to cross it by bike, it is necessary to take one of the numerous bike shuttles that connect the Italian side to the Swiss side (visit the dedicated page for more information: https://www.ekwstrom.ch/it/livigno/bike-shuttle).

Once past the tunnel, the route begins with a short climb, followed by a descent that takes you to Zernez. Here, you will find a flat stretch that will allow you to warm up your legs before the first real climb: that to Passo Fluela. This ascent will lead you to the lakes of the pass, from where the descent towards Davos will begin. The descent softens considerably in the Davos area before continuing to a very short climb followed by another steeper descent.

Upon reaching Alvaneu, a short climb will bring you back to the road for Passo Abula, which represents the most challenging part of the tour. A climb that gradually increases in slope will take you to a false flat before facing the last stretch of the climb. After tackling the last climb, you reach the highest point of the route, where you can enjoy a spectacular view. From here, the descent will take you to Madulain, a picturesque Swiss village, then continue on a flat stretch through the small villages of the Engadine until you return to Zernez.

From Zernez, you will travel back the same way you came, with two short but intense climbs, interspersed with a false flat stretch. Once back at the Schera tunnel, it is necessary to take the bike shuttle again to return to Italy and retrace the Gallo tunnels until you return to Livigno.

A tour that allows you to live a unique adventure, made of extraordinary panoramas and discoveries amidst unspoiled nature. Perfect for those who want to explore new places and conquer alpine passes, without giving up the pleasure of an engaging pedal.
