Born in 2000 in Milan, initiated and directed by Elisabetta Sgarbi, La Milanesiana aims to cross different knowledge and arts, presenting to the general public the international excellences of the cultural and scientific world: Nobel laureates in literature and science, Oscar winners in film, and musicians who have received the highest international accolades. Over the years, the festival has increasingly broadened its scope and, in addition to Milan, takes place in various Italian cities, including, for the past ten years, in Bormio.
Every year, La Milanesiana tackles a theme that characterizes and permeates the entire edition. This year it is "Desire and Law".
