Conflicts within individuals, relationships, the community, and psychopathological reverberations
Conflict has always been a crucial element in psychiatric research and clinic, both as an etiological factor and as a contributor to the progression of psychiatric disorders.
In the current era, marked by new global imbalances and the proximity of war, conflict takes on an even more significant role, contributing to the spread of mental disorders. The connections between trauma and mental illness are analyzed, both in social contexts (migrants, victims of violence) and in care pathways.
Finally, conflict is also considered in its intrapsychic and relational dimensions, as a possible factor of both deterioration and growth and healing, within various pathologies and in the familial and social context.
