Poste Italiane, the official partner of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games, in collaboration with the Municipality of Bormio, offers a special philatelic cancellation at the Bormio Civic Library dedicated to the Italian figure skating champion Fiorella Negro, who participated in the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina.

Fiorella Negro was an Italian figure skater, active in the 1950s and known for representing Italy in major international competitions, including the 1956 Winter Olympic Games.
She started skating at a young age, around 9 years old, quickly emerging in national and international competitions. She participated in the European and World Figure Skating Championships from 1953 to 1956.
At 17 years old, she took part in the 1956 Winter Olympic Games in Cortina, placing 15th in the women's singles.
She won the Italian National Figure Skating Championships twice.
