Our Bread. Rites of Collective Bread Making from the Olympic Road

A shared rite around the ancient act of bread, much more than a workshop, that becomes an act of care, of searching for a place in the world.

The project OUR BREAD / Rites of Collective Bread Making from the Olympic Road is born as a cultural pathway that explores the multiple meanings of bread as a universal symbol, through a transdisciplinary and participatory approach that involves a wide audience.

A cultural action for the initiative Cultural Games that takes shape around bread – a universal and symbolic food – to transform into a collective experience.

The project aims to create a "Caravan of Bread" along the Lombard route (Milan-Valtellina-Bormio) of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic Games which, thanks to the activation of the "Mobile Bread Oven" container created by Terzo Paesaggio, allows for a widespread cultural program in areas with limited cultural offerings, using the streets and squares along the route stages and enhancing little-known cultural sites, releasing a material and immaterial legacy after the project.
