The event is part of the widespread project (in the locations of Milan Cortina 2026) scheduled from January 24 to February 22, 2026, in Sondrio, Tirano, Grosio, and Bormio, with exhibitions and initiatives dedicated to the designer born in Tirano and tied to the origins of Made in Italy.
Sondrio – “Rosa is the Mountain”
Exhibition from January 24 to February 22, 2026, at the MVSA – Valtellinese Museum of History and Art (Palazzo Sassi de' Lavizzari), featuring embroideries by Barbara Trestini Trimarchi inspired by Rosa Genoni, curated by Elisabetta Invernici. Friday, January 23: 11:00 AM press conference at Palazzo Pretorio (Piazza Campello 1), 5:00 PM inauguration at MVSA and 6:00 PM screening of “Rosa Genoni” (docufilm produced by Slow City), followed by an invitation-only cocktail.
Tirano – “Liberty Lights”
Exhibition from January 25 to 31, 2026 (10:00 AM–12:00 PM) at Casa Trimarchi, Via Cappuccini 45, showcasing artistic creations by Barbara Trestini Trimarchi, curated by Elisabetta Invernici. Saturday, January 24: 4:00 PM inauguration, 5:00 PM “Tea time”, 6:00 PM cocktail (entry by invitation).
Grosio – Installation “Art Apron”
On Sunday, January 25, 2026, an installation with embroideries inspired by Rosa Genoni, curated by Elisabetta Invernici, at the Conference Room of Oratorio Piergiorgio Frassati (Via Milano 4), time 5:00 PM–7:00 PM. In the afternoon: visit to the Grosotto Power Plant (2:00 PM), rock engravings of Rupe Magna (3:00 PM), Haute Material by Giuseppe Pruneri (3:30 PM), “through the streets of Grosio” (4:00 PM), visit installation (5:00 PM) and talk “The art apron: from the Grosino costume to Rott's flowers” (5:30 PM), followed by a cocktail.
