The Bormio Library, in collaboration with the Youth Aggregation Centers of Alta Valtellina, proposes several evening meetings to "disconnect from the digital world and reconnect with the real one".

In a historical period increasingly dominated by technology, where smartphone and screen usage is now considered a full-fledged addiction, the desire to experience authentic moments free from digital distractions is growing.
The "Offline Library Club" event begins precisely with this intent, to create a space where people can unplug, slow down, relax, and "connect" only with each other; at our offline evening you can read, talk, dance, play, and meet new people, all without your phone.

The inspiration for the event comes from the Offline Clubs that started in Amsterdam and have since expanded to cities like Milan, London, Paris, Dubai, and Barcelona. These circles, designed for community well-being, organize events focused on being together, without phones, to meet a growing need: to unplug from smartphones and reconnect with people. Their motto is simple: "Trade screen time for real time". The goal: to spend less time on the phone and more time creating true and genuine connections, both with oneself and with others.
